In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of Section 2 of the Apprentices Act, 1961 (52 of 1961), and after consultation with the Central Apprenticeship Council, the Central Government hereby specifies the following trades or occupations or subject fields in engineering and technology as designated trades for the purposes of that Act, namely:
1. Foundry Technology, 2. Sound engineering, 3. Ground water engineering, 4. Drilling engineering, 5. Cinematography, 6. Fisheries and navigation, 7. Medical laboratory technology, 8. Industrial engineering.
