In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of Section 2 of the Apprentices Act, 1961 (52 of 1961), and after consultation with the Central Apprenticeship Council, the Central Government hereby specifies the following subject-fields as designated trades, for Graduate and Technician Apprentices, for the purpose of the Act, namely: -

1.       Computer Science / Computer Applications, 2. Polymer Technology, 3. Dairy Engineering / Technology, 4. Mining Machinery Engineering, 5. Mineral Engineering.
