In exercise of the power coferred by sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the Apprentices Act, 1961 (52 of 1961), the Central Government, after consulting the Central Apprenticeship Council, hereby determines that for the designated trades specified in Column 1 of the Table below, the ratio of apprentices to workers other than unskilled workers in that trade shall be as indicated in column 3 thereof:---
